The Coat of Arms / Stemma
The Borgacci Family has its origins in the beautiful valleys of Tuscany in Northern Italy around the VII century. The noble family’s patriarch was Petrus Romanus son of Il Borgaccio ( The Roman). The Roman ( Romanus del 'il Borgo" ) had two sons Petrus Romanus ( 767- 819 AD ) and Constantinus (771 - 800 AD ). The roman was from a noble Roman family form the city of Rome. Very little is known of the officer only that he served in the Roman army defending Ravenna in 751 AD.
